What information do I need to have ready?

How long does a typical installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in a single day. Larger properties or more complex layouts may take two days. We’ll give you a realistic timeline in your quote.

Do you remove an old fence before installing the new one?

Yes — we can remove and dispose of your existing fence as part of the project. Ask about this when you request your quote and we’ll include it.

Do you subcontract any of the work?

No. Our own crew handles every project from start to finish. The team that quotes your fence is the team that installs it.

Do you clean up after the job?

Yes. Full site cleanup is included. We do a walkthrough before we leave, check all hardware and gates, and remove all debris. Your property is left spotless.

Do pool fences have specific code requirements?

Do I need to notify utility companies before fence installation?

What if my fence is on a shared property line?

Shared-line fences can involve neighbour agreements. We recommend confirming property line positions and having a conversation with your neighbour before installation. We’ll help ensure posts are placed correctly on-site.

Do you install fences in rural areas outside Winnipeg?

What fence types do you install?

Chain link, wood, welded wire, and ornamental steel. We also do pool fences, dog runs, estate gates, and chain link with privacy slats. See our Fence Types page for full details.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All installations come with a one-year workmanship warranty. If something is wrong with the installation, we’ll come back and fix it.

What brand of ornamental fencing do you use?

We install Ameristar® Montage welded steel panels — a proven product designed for residential applications. Fully rackable for sloped lots. No painting required.

Do wood fences require maintenance?

Wood naturally weathers over time. Periodic staining or sealing helps maintain appearance. The structural advantage of our steel post method means the fence framework itself holds up well through Manitoba winters.

Do you install fences on slopes?

Yes. We’re experienced with sloped lots and uneven terrain across Winnipeg. Ornamental panels are fully rackable. For wood and chain link we step or rack as appropriate for the grade.

Can I get privacy slats on a chain link fence?
