Residential Fence Repair

We Repair All Residential Fence Types

Whether it’s a single leaning post or a full panel that came through a rough Winnipeg winter, we handle all fence types: chain link, wood, ornamental, and welded wire.
We start with an honest assessment. If repair makes sense, we repair it. If the fence is past the point where a repair is cost-effective, we’ll tell you that too — and give you a straight installation quote instead.

Service Types

Warranty Service & Paid Repairs

Warranty Service

If we installed your fence and something fails within 1 year due to workmanship, we come back and fix it at no charge. No runaround.

Paid Repairs

We strive to keep a simple promise: Use quality materials. Build carefully. Be responsive before, during, and after the work.

Common Repairs

What We Fix

Leaning Posts

Frost heave, soft ground, and vehicle strikes are common causes. We re-set posts properly — below the frost line with appropriate footing — so the fix holds.

Damaged Panels

Bent chain link mesh, broken wood boards, or mangled ornamental sections. We replace only what’s needed — no pressure to redo the whole fence.

Gate Adjustments

Sagging, dragging, or hard-to-latch gates are a common repair. We adjust hinges, level the gate frame, and reset the latch so the gate swings and closes properly.

Post-Winter Inspection

After a Winnipeg winter, posts shift and panels rack. We walk the fence with you, identify what needs attention, and give you a clear picture of the fence’s condition.

The Process

How a Repair Works

01

Contact Us

Call or fill out the form with a description of the damage. Photos help but aren't required. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to schedule a visit.

02

On-Site Assessment

We come out, look at the fence, and give you an honest read on what needs to be done. We'll tell you if it's a repair, a partial replacement, or if a full replacement makes more financial sense.

03

Written Quote

You get a written quote before any work starts. No surprises on the invoice. If the scope changes once we're on-site, we'll discuss it with you before proceeding.

04

Repair Day

Our crew handles the repair efficiently. Most repairs are completed in a single visit. We clean up the work area and walk through the completed repair with you before leaving.

Honest Assessment
We tell you what the fence actually needs — not the most expensive option. If it makes more sense to replace than repair, we’ll say so.
1-Year Warranty
All repair work is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty. If a repair we did fails within a year, we come back and fix it.
Our Team Only
No subcontractors. The same local Winnipeg crew that does installations handles repairs — same standards, same accountability.

Common Questions

Repair FAQ

Do you repair fences you didn't install?

Yes. We repair all fence types regardless of who installed them. We’ll assess the damage and give you an honest quote before any work begins.

What fence types do you repair?

Chain link, wood, ornamental (steel and aluminum), and welded wire. If you have something unusual, contact us and we’ll let you know if it’s in scope.

How long does a typical repair take?

Most residential repairs are completed in a single visit, usually half a day or less. Larger jobs or post replacement requiring concrete curing may take two visits.

Is the assessment free?

Yes. We come out, assess the damage, and provide a written quote at no cost. You only pay if you choose to proceed with the repair.

My fence is covered under warranty — what do I do?

Contact us and reference your original installation. If the issue is workmanship-related and within the 1-year warranty period, we’ll schedule a repair at no charge.

Can a leaning post be fixed without replacing it?

It depends on the cause and condition of the post. A frost-heaved post in otherwise good condition can often be re-set. A rotted or cracked post typically needs replacing. We assess each case individually.
